Shutdown Construction Phase Works Completed On Time at DDEXP

As part of the recently awarded Civil, SMP & E&I construction and project management contract with CPECC WDS JV Pipemech have successfully completed the required elements of scope for SMP and E&I on schedule during the recent Arrow Energy Daandine Shutdown (Balance of Plant - Shutdown #2) at Arrow Energy’s Central Gas Processing Facility (CGPF) and Braemar B1/B2 Metering Stations releasing the facilities as planned to Arrow Energy to commence reintroduction of gas to the plant.

 

The shutdown construction phase works were completed in mid-September 2015 by the Pipemech team on site at Daandine near Dalby, Qld.

 

The scope of work completed during the shutdown included:

  • Plant Isolation, Purging and Inerting;

  • Structural, Piping and Electrical Demolition;

  • Installation and tie-in of HDPE Gas Gathering Manifold Duplication;

  • Installation, Testing and Pre-commissioning of Steel Piping tie-ins;

  • Installation, Testing and Pre-commissioning of Electrical and Instrumentation tie-ins;

  • Assistance with Arrow Energy Operational Maintenance, Rectification and Start-up activities;

  • Completion and Turnover of Shutdown Scope to Arrow Energy.

 

Pipemech’s SMP and E&I project management, supervision and labour team of over 60 personnel completed the works without incident, and on time for Arrow Energy.

 

Pipemech’s team will now move into the completion and pre-commissioning phase of works at the CGPF and have also been requested to and are assisting CPECC WDS JV complete discrete scope on the Production Facilities / Gathering elements of the project.
